Very annoyed and disappointed with this company. Their marketing letter stated 'we have the experience and expertise to ensure your move goes smoothly and make the strain of the day disappear'. That didn't happen especially when they could not get everything into the van which I wanted to take (garden pots etc). A few days after arrival at the new house, I found that they had left a whole cupboardfull in the old house. This was delivered a week later once I had dealt with it. Did I get a letter of apology - or a refund - or even a bunch of flowers to say sorry. Not a thing.Clothes I was assured would be hung up in special boxes - only 1 did that, another broke with handling so everything was on the bottom in a pile, the third they didn't even bother - just wrapped up the clothes around hangers and dumped them in the bottom of a box. In the middle I found some glass art pieces which had been wrapped up in one of my dresses!The people seemed pleasant but the strain of the day is still being felt.Oh and they didn't tell me that they weren't packing the food in the fridge until I asked them where it was - still at the old house. Thanks.Don't use them.
Very very friendly and helpful staff.
We used Clarks for a house clearance as they work in partnership with Amersham Auctions. We received efficient and friendly service throughout. The property was totally cleared as agreed and care had obviously been taken as there was no damage to woodwork or decoration and no rubbish or oddments left on site. Keys were collected and returned to the estate agent as agreed meaning that we didn't need to be present during the clearance. We would recommend them as a trustworthy ad reliable local company.
Moved house just three weeks ago. We had an excellent team of men from Clarks. They were cheerful, polite and courteous all through the day. All the boxes arrived in the correct rooms and they asked about where the furniture should go.Everything arrived safely and the men took great care with our possessions.They are to be highly recommended.
